# Meet the new side panel view

**Summary:** A new side panel view slides the chat open and closed, a search bar component opens the conversation center, and language detection is more stable.

- __New AI view: the side panel__ 🎉 Until now the AI could be set to open as a popover (a small rectangle, often on the corner of a screen) or as the larger conversation center overlay. There’s now a third option! You can select the side panel view which will slide to open and close the chat.

- You can now add a __search bar component__ which will open up the larger conversation center overlay where the end-user can interact with the AI to find the information they are looking for.
